92 million tons of textile waste enter the environment every year. These never-worn goods leech artificial dyes and toxins into our waterways and land, as well as produce immense amounts of carbon to make. I wanted to change that, so in 2024 I created a company rooted in a beach community who wanted to see a difference. Since then, over a thousand of pounds of garbage have been removed from our local beaches, and I hope to see those numbers multiply. When you purchase an item from here, it starts in a teen's sketches, where it is then burned into a screen. After this, the design is screened onto a sustainably produced garment and size labels are hand-sewn in by me. My clothing will last you summer after summer, and you can support a sustainable future for all. 

I'm Ellie, and I began Destruction Co. in 2024 in an effort to create something that I was proud of and live my dream. I began by purchasing a screen printer on Facebook Marketplace and haven't looked back since. Everything on our website and socials is made by me, right here in Long Island New York, where it has been tested and designed since the start. 🌺

Based in Long Island New York, our team is just me in my basement, making and screening each piece by hand. Every patch and size tag is hand-sewed, and every design is drawn in house by me. This maintains a high quality standard and ensures that every garment is ready to wear!
